Why rent office space in business centers of Kiev

Kiev (Kyiv) is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, the economic and cultural center of Ukraine. It is divided into 10 administrative districts - Shevchenkivskyi, Pecherskyi, Obolonskiy, Desnianskyi, Dniprovskyi, Podilskyi, Holosiivskyi, Svyatoshinskyi, Darnytskyi, and Solomyanskyi. With flourishing entrepreneurship, the largest Ukrainian and international companies, foreign embassies and representations choose to rent offices here. And, like every capital city, Kiev has the most expensive and most prestigious commercial and residential real estate for rent. The city is a popular tourist destination. By the end of 2017, more than 1.5 million tourists are expected here, mostly from Belarus, Israel, Turkey and the USA.

Economy and Transport

Although almost 80% of employees work in the service sector, the city’s industry is developing steadily, especially such sectors as mechanical engineering, metallurgy, chemical, printing, food, and equipment manufacturing. Naftogaz, Ukrzaliznytsya (Ukrainian Railways), Fozzi Group, Megapolis Ukraine (tobacco), Kyivstar-Telecommunications, Epicenter-K (retail), Roshen (food) are among the largest companies in the city. In general, according to Forbes magazine, out of the 200 largest Ukrainian enterprises, 50% have headquarters in Kyiv.

Kyiv has a very well-developed transport infrastructure. There are two passenger airports: Ukraine’s largest Boryspil International Airport and the international airport "Zhulyany", as well as "Gostomel" cargo airport and the military one in the town of Vasilkov. It is also convenient to get from Kiev to many cities in Ukraine and Europe by train. The main railway station is Kiev-Passazhirskiy, the secondary one is Darnytsa, which operates long-distance and suburban trains.

Ten districts of Kiev

In the capital of Ukraine, you can rent office space of any size and on any budget: from elite offices in Podilskyi, Pecherskiy and Shevchenkivskyi districts, located in old mansions, to modern A class business centers equipped to keep up with the latest technology.

One of the main requirements tenants have to providers when leasing commercial real estate in Kiev is the flexibility and ability to quickly adapt the workspace to their needs. Not many entrepreneurs want to rent workspace for a few years. Startups and small companies in Kiev prefer flexible offices where the lease term is shorter, and no additional funds are needed to get started because everything is ready to move in: the internet and telephone lines, reception, sometimes even furniture and office equipment. Also, business centers offer on-demand meeting rooms, which is a great option if you do not hold meetings very often. Gym, parking, and café in the building are great options for business people as it's convenient to have everything at your fingertips.

Prestigious locations

The rent price per square meter depends on such factors as location, the distance from the center, and the condition of the premises. In the historical areas of the city, such as Podil (Podol) or Pechersk, there are both old renovated buildings and new modern business centers which boast magnificent window views. The most-coveted offices overlook Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, Lesi Ukrainky Boulevard, Saint Sophia Cathedral, Maidan Nezalezhnosti (Independence Square), St. Michael's Cathedrale, the Dnipro River, Mariyinskyi Park, Park of Glory, the Botanic Garden, Andriyivskyi Uzviz, etc.

Other districts of Kiev also have their advantages: the rent price is significantly lower, but at the same time, due to excellent transport infrastructure, it is convenient for employees to commute.
