The varied facade claddings are created from materials such as bricks, recycled wood, and discarded wind turbine blades, all of which are intended to reduce the building's carbon footprint and limit CO2 emissions from the construction site during the building process.

WOOD is located in the new South Harbor district in Aarhus - where the new meets the old.
