The town of Tonder or Toender is a seat of the eponymous municipality in the Region of Southern Denmark and has a population of over 7 thousand citizens. It is a place with a long history, and the presence of numerous houses from the 17th-18th centuries is a vivid example of it. Geographically, Toender lies on the border with Germany(in about 5 km away), and this location is quite favourable if we speak about running businesses in the region, especially retail ones. For such a small town(with a bit more than 6,7 square kilometres), there is a vast array of shops in Tonder, especially those selling specialty goods. The location is attractive not only for the locals but also for German people who often come to shop there. And it's not surprising. Stores in Tonder offer a vast selection of goods - from souvenirs, handicrafts, ceramics, and antiquities, so much popular in Denmark, to luxury clothes, shoes, and pieces of garments created by renowned national and international designers.
