Still more tenants emphasize that wellness programs, sports and meditation facilities, relaxation rooms, etc. help maintain the right levels of efficiency and productivity.
It is something that creates more value for clients and helps win their long-term loyalty. Moreover, the sense of community, which has also been among clients priorities this year, is also related to well-being as people strive to network with the like-minded offline.
Fitness as must
"Demands for health and well-being in their flexible workspaces have been key points among clients in 2018. For over a quarter of them, fitness rooms and facilities have become workplace musts they cannot do without," MatchOffice CEO, Jakob Dalhoff states.
"Presumably for most people with a dynamic lifestyle, commuting to a gym is an inconvenience they do not want to put up with. By the same token, showers are a must for almost one-fifth of the respondents who cycle to work.
Mindfulness has become a lifestyle choice for many today. The ability to be present at the moment helps to avoid stress, and we see a growing need for meditation space in the flexible office environment."

MatchOffice publishes the Client Survey for the fourth consecutive year focusing on business landlords during the past year. This current report is based on analytical material from 1,033 office managers in 23 European countries.
The market is increasing steadily as this year again there over 60% of new clients. However, with almost 40% of those who have not decided yet if they want to resume the contract, it is an excellent stimulus for providers to offer new and fresh features.
Networking with likeminded
"The majority of clients are small teams of 1-2 people, which also explains why serviced offices are increasingly offering coworking options, too.
Besides facilities that support health and well-being, networking with likeminded runs like a golden thread through many graphs. In comparison with traditional offices, it is an undeniable advantage, as it allows finding people who, as a minimum, can share some exciting information, and even become business partners," Jakob Dalhoff adds.

In the MatchOffice Client Survey 2018, 18.5% of respondents (17.4% last year) emphasize that common spaces and areas tailored to networking keep them close and loyal to their company.
Also, all kinds of networking, social events, weekly or monthly entertainment and professional events in the company or office community are at a continued higher rate among employees.
"Health, well-being, and socialization are keywords for any landlord who will create added value and stick to the tenants. An in-house cafe is still a hit because it offers employees networking and keep them close to the workstations at the same time.
Providers should keep in mind that the competition to offer the most creative, exciting and fascinating flexible office environments is sharper than ever. The market´s clients have never had more modern and fancy equipped office spaces to choose from.
Location and attracting pricing are still main competitiveness factors when companies are looking for new premises, but yet the details - the convenient services, flashy designs, smart devices - count and determine where the modern business company decides to settle down," Jakob Dalhoff underlines. ●
