The property was built in 1962, as a stylish and characterful industrial building designed by Friis and Moltke - at a time when the Århus River was piped under the street. In-situ cast reinforced concrete dimensioned for heavy loads was used for the construction. The striking facade facing Åboulevarden is made of concrete cast against formwork of sandblasted rough boards. The characteristic horizontal slats in front of the window bands are made of reinforced concrete and are intended to act as sun protection. Next to the entrance is a work of art by the painter; Emil Gregersen.
