The town of Abenraa is a beautiful spot in the southern part of the country, located in close proximity to the German border, at the head of Aabenraa Fjord. The name if the city means the “open beach”, and it is a truly fascinating location, with nature around. As the largest town in the eponymous municipality, Aabenraa boasts numerous educational and business opportunities for initiatives willing to work in a range of spheres. Trading is one of the core industries in the economic scene of the town. It is because Aabenraa is home to a 7,5-metre deep harbour, which serves as a significant point for the shipping trade. There are also lots of shops in Aabenraa, spread along a lovely pedestrian street, and in the squares.
