The First is a historic office building located in the heart of Helsinki at the corner of Aleksanterinkatu and Kluuvikatu. The older part of the property was completed in 1909, designed by architect Selim A. Lindqvist, and was Finland's first entirely concrete commercial building. The corner section was designed by the architectural firm Jung & Jung and was completed in 1937. Two additional floors were added to the originally five-story building in 1949-1950.

The office spaces underwent thorough renovations in 2019-2020. The spaces were modernized and materials as well as building systems were updated, while preserving the original details of the prestigious property. Transportation

Helsinki University metro station is just a few tens of meters away along Kluuvikatu, and Helsinki Central Railway Station is about a three-minute walk. Helsinki-Vantaa Airport is about a 30-minute journey by train or car. The entrance to the Kluuvi parking garage is on the other side of the street in the Kluuvi Shopping Center.
