Meritulli is a historic Art Nouveau office building in Helsinki's Kruununhaka district, at the end of Pohjoisranta and Aleksanterinkatu near the Presidential Palace. The oldest parts of the building were completed in 1875 as a factory. According to architect Theodor Decker's plans, the building was raised to three stories in 1885, the extension on the Pohjoisranta side in 1908-1909 gave it an L-shape, and the fourth floor was added in 1946 designed by architect Erik Lindroos. The building has housed institutions such as the University of Helsinki and the Ministry of Education and Culture.
