Grand Est is situated in northeastern France, it’s an administrative region and a corridor that connects France with Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium and Switzerland. The local population has already surpassed 5.5 million residents. Major cities in Grand Est include Strasbourg (administrative centre), Nancy, Reims, Metz, Chaumont, etc. The majority of the cities in Grand Est have deeply rooted industries and agriculture. The region hasn’t yet moved away from its original type of economy. Nevertheless, with the aid of the local authorities, Grand Est continuously attracts service-based companies, provides additional training for those willing to work in the digital sphere and creates support programmes for young companies. Moreover, Grand Est continuously collaborates with its foreign neighbours to create better transportation links, improve its infrastructure and become even more welcoming to new businesses.
