Breda is a relatively large city, with fortified walls, located in the southern part of the Netherlands. Previously, it was a major political and military centre. Nowadays, the city has a well-developed tertiary sector. It is an official seat of companies specializing in food and beverages production(Kwatta, Hero) and industrial spheres(Toshiba, Scania, General Motors), etc. Breda’s geographical location between two important ports and in proximity to numerous local and international business hubs, attract many logistics companies. The University of Applied Sciences is situated in the city. Hosting a broad community of young initiatives and being home to various corporations, Breda supports the growth of coworking trend on its territory. It is not such a large tech hub as. e.g., Amsterdam, but still offers an excellent selection of coworking venues.
