Welcome to Ostend - a lively corner of Frankfurt that has gained enormous popularity in recent years, not least due to the relocation of the ECB! In addition to a variety of restaurants, bakeries, butchers, cafes, and the very large CheckIn (supermarket), all within walking distance in a few minutes, you can also quickly reach the Main river and stroll along the shore or in the park behind the ECB for a (mental) break. The tram stops practically at the door, the Frankfurt Ost subway station is a 2-3 minute walk away, and it only takes 10-12 minutes to get to the S-Bahn.
The building was completed in 2022 and we moved into the property in February 2023. The furnishings were done in collaboration with an interior designer, which is evident in the very appealing, high-quality, and somewhat unique design. We have a total of almost 400 square meters of office space, which includes a large communal area with currently 15 fully equipped workstations (each with 2 monitors + height-adjustable desk), a large and a small meeting room, a private office, a phone booth, two individual rooms, a kitchen, a creative corner, and a couch/lounge area.
We - a "friendly bunch" of IT consultants - only use the office sporadically per week. Due to a decrease in staff, we have almost halved in number and are looking for a "suitable counterpart" to bring some more life to the space, so that this truly special office receives the attention it deserves.
The 400 square meters are divided into approximately 2/3 workspace (meeting rooms, office space, private offices) and 1/3 utility or communal space (creative corner, kitchen, toilets, couch/lounge area). The current 15 workstations could be expanded to 17 directly, and we had already planned for the possibility of creating capacity for an additional 6 workstations when needed.
Currently, we have 12 colleagues, who as mentioned above, basically only come to the office once a week. Specifically, only on Wednesdays - Fridays. Therefore, the office is usually completely empty on Mondays/Tuesdays, and on the other days, with almost equal distribution, we are "only" 4 people per day on site.
Therefore, we can offer at least half of the current workstations, or potentially add more workstations if necessary.
