The facade is clad with recycled bricks from demolished buildings, and the roof is equipped with 700 m² of solar panels, while the building is connected to district cooling, which can reduce CO2 emissions by up to 70% compared to traditional cooling solutions.
The property will be connected to energy from producers that primarily supply electricity from solar panels and wind turbines.
Emphasis has been placed on supporting cycling with 460 bicycle parking spaces and a bicycle workshop in the basement.
The indoor climate is controlled through diffuse air supply, where the air is blown out over the suspended ceiling and slowly seeps down through the ceiling. This provides a more comfortable indoor climate and less draft compared to more traditional air supply solutions.
